Steel Fire Protection

Intumescent Coating

We provide intumescent fire protection to structural steels using an airless spray pump. Each protection to steel work provides 30 - 180 minutes protection, dependant on loadings required to indivdual steel size sections.

Intumescent coatings slow the transfer of heat to the steel. An intumescent is a substance which swells as a result of heat exposure, thus increasing in volume and decreasing in density.

Timber Fire Protective Coatings

We also provide clear fire protective coatings for timber, timber boards, MDF, melamine and veneered boards and other wood related products. Applied in accordance with Class 0 & Class 1 spread of flame.
